Viral Marketing using YouTube by Evian

In the Web 2.0 world, Viral Marketing with Video has taken a whole new dimension. If the British singing sensation (Briton’s Talent TV show) created a stir in the social networking media, here is a planned marketing affair.

The piece is called “Skating Babies,” an online ad for Evian bottled water that’s rung up nearly 5 million hits internationally on YouTube in little more than a week. Among those myriad viewers is TODAY’s Natalie Morales, who has two young children, including a son who’s nearly a year old. Her oldest son loved the ad, she told co-host Matt Lauer, who also admitted to having watched it with amusement.

Do you use Twitter for Lead Generation?

Popular micro blogging tool Twitter has gained enormous traction during the past few months. There are already several books on Twitter usage in the market. However, still there is an ongoing discussion about usage of Twitter as a business development and marketing tool.

Along with other widely used social networking platforms Facebook and LinkedIn, Twitter could be a great marketing tool, if used wisely. However, the social networking media cannot be a major solution for all marketers; it will vary from business to business and situation to situation.
